About Masterclasses & one-to-ones

Masterclasses – We will hear from an expert speaker on topics which will inspire you and benefit your business.

If there’s a subject you would like to see covered, please email us with your idea.

One-to-ones – Finding time in your working week to have a one-to-one with someone you have met through networking can be tricky so we are going to do it for you!

You’ll be paired off at random but if there is somebody you really want to meet, let us know and we’ll do our best to arrange or you can make contact and arrange a one-to-one for after the meeting – South Winchester Golf Club has a lovely bar area.

Why I set up Winchester Networking

The best networking events I have attended are those where I have met people who I have got to know through one to ones and they have gone on to become trusted and liked connections. I also love the meetings where it gets to the end and you feel energised because you’ve had some great conversations or you have learned something which you can apply to your business.

That said, I wouldn’t describe myself as a natural networker. I’ve spent many a meeting sitting there dreading the moment the spotlight will be on me to ‘do my minute’ or grabbing myself yet another cup of tea because it is something to do whilst looking for a nice friendly person to strike up a conversation!

I’ve come to realise that I enjoy the experience far more when there is a clear purpose and I also really like getting to know people during a one-to-one.

I want networking to be a worthwhile positive experience and it is for this reason that I have set up Winchester Networking. My goal is to create a community where we can be ambassadors for each other’s businesses, truly understanding and describing what we do.

At Winchester Networking, I want everyone to feel welcome and supported, without watching the clock and waiting for the meeting to end. I aim to provide opportunities to learn from experts and ensure the experience is so worthwhile that you’ll want to come back. If it ever falls short of your expectations or you think it can be improved, please do let me know.
